Ten years to this day, March 10th became my favorite day of the year.  March 10th is like the Super Bowl, Hanukkah, Christmas and 4th of July all rolled into one.  On Saturday March 10th, 2007 at 1:04PM our lives forever changed.  Deanna and I welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Jack.

I will never forget the day he was born, it truly seems like yesterday.   From the time he was born until now has been a complete whirlwind...a very good whirlwind!

The first year of Jack's life I challenged myself to keep a daily visual diary by taking a picture and posting it into a gallery of images.  I did this for two reasons, one to expand my photography and secondly to keep my wife's east coast family in the loop of Jack's daily progress.  Many days it was a chore to pull out the camera and try to capture something different...but I pushed on through and I am glad that I did.

After the year was up I had continued on a daily basis until he was three.  It was a challenge at times, but one that I really enjoyed then, and we enjoy even more so now!  Although I stopped updating the gallery on a daily basis when he turned three, I still managed to upload at least a picture a week.  It is really neat to look back on his progression.  I always tell new parents, take lots of photos and make sure to organize/keyword them and keep a running gallery...you won't  regret it!!!  Jack and Julianna's galleries are a perfect example of this.

The past 3,652.4 days  have been an amazingly fantastic ride!  We have watched the metamorphosis of a little baby boy turn into a curious, talkative child transitioning to an athletic, sweet, caring ten year old.  Deanna and I look forward to what the future holds for Jack.  We will be his foundation supporting all of his dreams and goals!

Happy 10th Birthday Jack!

We love you!
